Lauren has had an amazing casino career earned through hard work, perseverance, and practice. With 28 years of casino gaming experience, Lauren has run the full circle from casino student to high limit dealer, teacher, and finally, manager. Lauren started her casino dealer journey in July of 1993 at a small dealer school located in Fort Mojave, Arizona along the Colorado River, just east of Laughlin, Nevada. There, she learned how to deal Blackjack and was soon able to start her first job at the Edgewater Casino in Laughlin. After learning Pai Gow on the job and expanding her dealing skills, she successfully auditioned and started her next job at the Laughlin Flamingo Hilton.
At the Flamingo, Lauren took every opportunity to learn new games like Roulette and Baccarat. Two and a half years later, Lauren was ready to take her game to the next level. In 1996, Lauren packed her bags and headed to the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for a life-changing audition. At the Rio, she became an accomplished high limit dealer, routinely handling players with million-dollar credit lines who would bet much as $75,000 per hand at Blackjack. Almost 15 years later, in 2010, Lauren helped open the famed Cosmopolitan as a high limit dealer, a role she continues to this day. In 2016, Lauren started as a gaming instructor at CEG Dealer School. Today, Lauren is the General Manager of CEG Dealer School, managing a staff of gaming instructors and sharing her expertise and experience with new students each month as they begin their own casino journey.
